O Christmas Tree
How I loved thee
But today was the day
to pack you away
You provided a month of fun for me
and a month of annoyance for E!
Your bright lights, colors, and gifts
were pleasing to me
Your ornament hooks, reflective lights (in the TV), and size
were not pleasing to E
So, while it was fun having you around
It's time to move on and take you down
Not to worry, I'll keep you safe and sound
Until next December when Santa comes back to town!

We did the same thing today. After thanksgiving I can't wait to get the decorations up, and then I really can't wait to take them down when it's all over.
i guess this is the good part about being homeless right now. no decorations ever went up...none have to come down!
