Is it worth it?

About a week and a half ago, I stopped drinking my favorite drink ever... Diet Pepsi! I've had at least one of those puppies at least once a day for a long, long time.

And, for about a week and a half I have a killing migraine at about 5:00 p.m. every single day!

So, I wonder.. Is it worth it?

Pros:
I feel better (minus the daily migraines)
I'm drinking more water
I'm saving money
I'll be healthier (which is why I stopped in the first place)

Cons:
I get a migraine every single day (which will eventually go away once my body gets over the shock of it all)
I get a migraine every single day
Oh, and I get a migraine every single day!

All things considered, it looks like it's worth it! But, that doesn't mean it doesn't SUCK!

If anyone out there loves Diet Pepsi as much as me... drink one for me, will ya??

Anyways, Love ya, Miss ya, hope I can stay away from ya!

Love them so much!

I was going through my camera and found pictures of some of my nieces and nephews that I wanted to post! They are all so unique and extremely lovable in their own way!

Torey and Austin
Check out some pics of Austin hanging out with us on "Movie Night"! Torey came over with his Mom to drop Austin off and was a great sport since he already had his turn at Movie Night a couple weeks ago. As you can see, we loaded Austin up with candy just like we did Torey! And, after the movie E started a pillow fight with Austin, which was hilarious! The candy and popcorn ended up all over the house!

Makayla and Annika
And, then there are these sweet little girls that I got adorable pictures of from Easter (yep.. I'm way behind on updating this thing!) Makayla had so much fun doing her Easter egg hunt and Annie was a good sport to hang out outside with all of us as we played duck, duck, goose with Makayla (the entire Olsen fam).. It was awesome!

Needless to say WE LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!

Please say YES!

So... we all know how long it takes for E to commit to something! (he he he)! I wonder how long it will take for him to let me have one of these??

As you can see, I'm dying to have a small, cute little dog!!! I'm open to different breeds but these three are my favorite! And, although I know there are many reasons to not have one, I still want one really, really bad!

Erik says that we both work too much to take care of a dog, which I agree with! But, I wonder, for all you dog owners out there, is it reasonable to own a dog if you both work full-time?

I think deep down he is probably right.. I certainly don't want to have a dog to neglect the poor thing! But, it's all I can think about lately (for like the last 3 months) and so I thought I'd throw out some questions to the people who know!

1. How often do you walk them?
2. How much do you pay in puppy food, grooming, vet bills, etc?? Are they really expensive?
3. How many hours a day is too much to be away from them while we are at work?
4. Is the inconvenience of having one outweighed by the joy they bring you? (My guess is yes and I think E's is no)

Anyway, this is my way of trying to figure out if I should give up this wish or keep on pushing!

P.S. You all know I have the patience to push for a long, long, long time! E can attest to that! :)

Thanks to all you dog lovers who are able to give me any insight!

I'm the prize!

I don't know if you ever feel really loved until you find out that you are the prize! Let me explain.. My nephew earned enough "money" to buy any activity of his choice. And he picked to watch a movie at Aunt Heidi and Uncle Erik's house!

What?? That means I'm his prize! He picked me to hang out with as his reward! AWESOME!

So, on Friday night I loaded up on junk food (5 different kinds of candy and popcorn) and E brought home root beer floats and we watch City of Ember with Torey. He had a tray of junk in front of him and he sure loaded up! But, I'm not sure who had a bigger smile on their face.. him or me!

It was awesome to spend time with him and I am so glad they live in Utah now!

And now I've been told by Austin (my other nephew) that I should expect him to earn an activity of his choice by this weekend so he can come over and watch a movie at Aunt Heidi and Uncle Erik's house!

I'm looking forward to it! And, I hope that as they get older, I continue being the prize! :)
