Over the holiday weekend, Erik and I spent time at the cabin with the Olsens! It was so much fun until around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday when I ROLLED my 4-wheeler! And, to add insult to injury, it decided it would be funny to land on top of me!
The sad part is that I wasn't driving to fast or being courageous or anything.. Really, it was because I was driving to SLOW!
On a very angled turn, I ended up tipping the 4-wheeler and rolled down the short path. And, the 4-wheeler followed suit. Ugh!
After the 5-mile drive back to the cabin on the back of Erik's 4-wheeler (heck no was I going to drive the rest of the way home!), Erik drove me to the ER where I received good news that I wasn't seriously hurt.. just seriously sore!
So, for the last couple days, I haven't been able to walk very well. Erik has been so kind to help me out with everything. Ahhh..
Although this accident put a big, scary dent in the weekend, I still had a great time hanging out with the fam!

OH MY GOSH!! That is seriously scary!! Darrell and Shawna had their 4 wheeler flip once for a similar thing, going to slow! As a mom it was terrifying to be there watching and I know how much D hurt after the whole thing was over (Shawna hurt too but he took most of the pain trying to block the atv from crushing her!) Thankfully they were ok when they had their mishap and I'm glad to hear you weren't seriously hurt either!! Next time go like hell! Maybe the faster you're going the better????
